Flew from Bristol with Onur Air and had no problems. In fact the gate was opened early and the plane took off half an hour early (which was great)
Arrived in Icmeler at 03.30 in the morning and was greeted with our first Efes
We stayed at the Bonjour and had no complaints about the hotel or the service we received from the staff.
The only downside was we had a large family staying whilst we were there and they were rather noisey and I know the management had a few complaints from regular guest.
We ate out at several different places including Bonjour, Cupids, Tandoori Sizzler, Waterfall, Harmony Bar and The Red Lion to name but a few. All the meals were lovely apart from The Red Lion which we thought was a bit bland.
The set menus were really good value this year and didnt think prices had gone up too much. The only food we thought had increased quite a bit was the steak meals.
After 9 visits we finally did the walk from Icmeler to Marmaris and really enjoyed it. Also did a couple of boat trips through ICR which were good value and went to see the Stella show a couple of times. Really good fun and he does two different shows now with a lot of new artists. Lady GaGa and Amy Whinehouse included
Also spent lazy days on the beach or at the pool.As I said we have been back 9 times now and yet this year seemed to be different again to our other holidays. It was great to catch up with old friends and new and really had a great 2 weeks.
Before we went we said this was going to be our last holiday in Icmeler.....................but on our last day we ended up booking another 2 weeks again in 2011
Dont think we will ever tire of the place.
Transfers and flight home were non eventful and too soon we were back in damp and gloomy England
Roll on 2011 for another 2 weeks in Icmeler
