Great piccies Kim.
We also stayed in the Sun Blu about 10 years ago.
Also found the Hob-Goblin just a tad noisy of an evening while we were in the Bufalo Bar next door.
I know Oscar and the rest of the guys in the pictures.
Looks like you had a fantastic time, thanks for posting.

Great photos Kim.
We stayed at Sun Blue when we went to Icmeler for the first time in 2004. It is again available for booking from Finland and we are planning to stay there in September. Last year we stayed at a hotel very near by. Have understood that the hotel has been renovated. Can't wait to be back there again.

Where is the hobgoblin bar?
I am liking the look of that £10 all you can drink offer!
Any other bars offering this?
We always get roped into staying at the same bars as we know people there, but a summer away means we can explore a bit more!

hi jools, I think the hobgoblin is behind the Alinda where the bars are much cheaper than on the main road or canal? am sure gene will put you right if I'm wrong

but back on topic ............
the Sun Blu look lovely, pity they aren't ICR ones though

Hmmm I'm still lost. If I were at wonderboys, for example, where would I be in relation to it? I'm somewhat embarrassed to say that in all the times we have visited, we've stuck loyally to our locals and not really explored too many other places.

if you look on section 4 of the Icmeler map on ICR home page, hobgoblin is on the next few blocks more inland than the Elif - nearer to the beach than wonder boys and you'd turn off at the Galeria supermarket

still reckon ICR should do these aparts though, they look lovely
