Amasing what they get up to in the winter so its all good for our visits in the summer

The beach is like that every year, the steps outside the kapisi is a river it washes all the beach away, further along on what I call the wide beach they bulldoze it up into big heaps to save it, then they dont have to truck more in for the new season, most visiters are probably not aware that the whole of the bay is an artificial beach, made with quarry sand thats why its very gritty.
As you can imagine there is a lot of work done even before we appear.
On the beach bars, the lads come early to get it ok, and that includes wading ito the sea with shovels to get the sand back.
They do deserve our praise
