This was a great day out. I hadn't been on a horse since I was fifteen and my OH had never been on a horse in his life  . Some of the others on the safari were laughing at him and calling him "Buffalo Bill"

Must admit I thought the horses needed feeding up a bit but every time we stopped and the horses started chewing the hedge or grass we were told off for letting them eat and were told they were not hungry :)

Worth doing if you want to do something different but be prepared for some sore buttocks in the evening

Looks like you had a good time the horses in Turkey do seem to be a bit thinner than at home but all seem healthy and happy, where was this safari I have been a couple of times but we never went through deep water just a little stream we went from a place near Marmaris next to the quad biking just wondered if you had found a different one. Not sure where it was as we booked it through ICR but I'm sure it wasn't far from Marmaris.

What great photos. Have been to Icmeler several times, but not done this trip yet.
After seeing this it will be on my wish list when we go in August. Can't wait.

Hi just a couple of quick questions re the horse riding:
- are riding hats available?
- is it suitable for a 12 year old with no previous riding experience
- how fast do the horses walk/trot?

Thanks in advance,

Adele
