Well I have only seen the photos but it looks to fit in nicely with what they did with the bridges and when they get the lights fixed on top it should brighten up the walkway at night, its a lot better than what was done in Marmaris they just flattened the bridges and concreted over the walkway.
looks ok to me .
at least they got ride of the sticky out bits at the kerb where the trees were. i gave every one a good laugh last october by triping over them all the time.
nice photos by the way.
Good they improved the walkways and those dodgy bridges, the kids used to be scared crossing over on them, they didnt like seeing between the wood and I used to trip on broken flags even when sober!
Those smaller tombstone looking things you could sit on when its too hot and you're trying to summon up the strength to carry on walking.
The umbrella man might be glad of the shade.
Those lights dont go with the pillars they look victorian on something Roman that is meant to be Turkish. They needed hidden discreet lights on top with uplighters pointing up the columns.
Like how they light the lycian tombs in Fetiye.
I bet it cost a fortune as well.
Lovely clear piccys though and I wish i was there not in work, but will have to wait till August to see it for real.
Hi, Great photos. Are those rock type ledges the only thing that you can sit on. They used to little benches where you could sit and look at the beach.
Thanks Margaret
Great pics, Sue, especially the one with 'ET'. When we were there 2 weeks ago, they were spraying it different colours each day, presumably to get the distressed look, but no matter what colour it was, it still looked like ET
