All these bars are lost forever













All these bars have either been demolished or had name changes in the last couple of years.
What can we expect for this coming season?
Will our favourite bar or restaurent have dissapeared to be re-placed by a new apartment block?
Changes are happening in Icmeler this winter and I for one am looking foreword to our re-vamped holiday resort.

Did the Lion Bar change to the moon or the First Moon or Golden Moon or something like that? On the Elif Road ?

I reckon gene will remember the bar where the lion bar is or was,called non stop,had some good times in there,it was just grass in front looking towards the alinda hotel,& the other three bells bar,or was it five bells.

Colette if memory serves me right it was known as the New Moon last year.

The Lions name change was to the First Moon
Alvaro became a bank
Pallete became The Hobgoblin
Murdono is now Alins
Sweety is Noels
Mimosa is the Twin Dragon
Famous Kitchen became Begins with S (Sevgi)
Harrys and Rising Sun knocked down
Chef became the Masala

Were the Lion bar was you had the Barcelona and Non Stop Bars now they did bump the music out.

Hang on I could be wrong but the name My Moon seems to ring a bell and not first moon

does anybody remember Kelebek bar & restaurant,just along from coco beach restaurant,I remamber using this place 13/14 years ago,its now called annes pantry,or something very much like that,we stayed in the Aqua hotel for our first two years in icmeler,great friends we made in kelebek , but alas they have now moved on,their names were thomas(yulmas)nigel(niget)iden was iden,who funny enough went on to work in non stop bar,mad as a hatter,(kelebek is butterfly in turkish)bet you knew that already.

with regards to the Alvaro turning into a bank

We were told to "watch this space" for 2008 but weren't told anymore so whether it's coming back or not we'll just have to wait and see !!!!

When we were there in August we heard that Pedro and Ozcan were looking into buying a restaurant for 2008. Still wish the Alvaro restaurant had stayed though - def wasnt the same without it.
