number 4 is seen on the village tour it is a small village called Biyar the tree is approx 3,000 years old

Haha I did type Bayer (thats the correct spelling Sue) but didn't seem to get there but I never knew that the tree was 3,000 years old :shock:

i cant spell either :oops: everytime we go there we are told that and there is a board with information on it to say it is but you just believe what you are told :?

Where is the restaurant by the Akyaka river - is it a tour, or did you wander off and find it Sue? It looks lovely, and I'd love to go.

we went on a boat down the river and spotted it, friends of ours went back that night but take plenty of mosquito repellent she was bitten really badly

its about an hour from Icmeler we went with friends but ICR do the Akyaka trip if you go on the boat trip down the river yo will not miss it

Cheers Sue - we've been looking for some new excursions to try......although I love the jeep safari and the viallage tours, we've done them to death over the last few years, and there's only so many carpets you can look at, without climbing the wall.
