The ice rink was along the promenade walk from Icmeler to Marmaris - I must admit we couldn't believe our eyes when we first saw it.

How on earth do they keep that place cool in that heat :shock:

Oh my god an ICE RINK!!

Would it be easy to find, and can you hire the skates from them :?:

Yes it truly was a real ice rink.....I'm not sure if it belongs to one of the hotels eg. Marmaris Palace, or whether it is independently owned, but when we stood and watched, the kids were having a great time.

Does anyone know of this, and whether or not anyone can go on this or does it belong to one of the hotels??

Its part of the Marmaris Palace hotel opens up onto the promenade in front of it where you can walk to either Marmaris or Icmeler.

Whether you can pay as a member of the public I don't know but I have never met a Turk who will not accept money.
