The ice rink was along the promenade walk from Icmeler to Marmaris - I must admit we couldn't believe our eyes when we first saw it.

How on earth do they keep that place cool in that heat :shock:

Yes it truly was a real ice rink.....I'm not sure if it belongs to one of the hotels eg. Marmaris Palace, or whether it is independently owned, but when we stood and watched, the kids were having a great time.

Its part of the Marmaris Palace hotel opens up onto the promenade in front of it where you can walk to either Marmaris or Icmeler.

Whether you can pay as a member of the public I don't know but I have never met a Turk who will not accept money.
