Icmeler Sunrise

Postby Mr Mischief » 10 Dec 2006 19:51

Hi Again,

All of you must think I'm off my rocker getting up early! But to capture moments like these a little effort pays dividends.

After Debbie wanted another bottle of wine. I got to bed about 3ish and set my alarm for 06:15. Got up and ventured down the canal with my muggy head. Got settled for the sunrise on the Hotel Marti pier.I was freezing but was accompanied by loads of wasps that kept me on my toes..

The best are to follow. Imageshack keeps crashing

Hope you all like.

Hi Roger
Thanks for taking those photos - They look great, especially if the best is yet to come! I can honestly say that's a part of Turkey I haven't seen in the last 5 years. Unless Eastenders stays open to 6am chances are I never will either. An alarm clock on holiday? You're barking mad!!!

By the way, Tony wakened me when he came to bed at 3.15am - he reckoned it was all your fault, but I've a sneaky feeling you'll be blaming him. Great to hear from you.

Fantastic pics. It makes me want to get up early in the morning next year when we are there 8) We'll have to take the alarm clock like you, or perhaps go to Eastenders and see it on the way home!!
