Although it was very hot this October compared to other years I wonder if the digital display is correct?
The whole block is in the full sunshine all day so this must heat the machine up.
We were in view of the one on the canal and the temperature changed a few degrees within a few minutes.
Maybe the council could relocate a display in the shade somewhere is the resort to give a more correct temperature?
I agree it was blooming hot though.

I only realised these machines could be giving a false reading when in February this year we were in our town and noticed a digital display above an estate agents office.
It was showing 23c! Which we know was definitely wrong as it was more like 23F!
We were muffled up with winter clothes and still felt freezing cold but the machine was in full sun so obviously giving an incorrect reading.

Surprisingly it was 12c today,about 52F I think?
Had a lovely day in beautiful Durham city.
I wish Icmeler would stay "open" for a few more weeks as I couldnt stand the heat last month.
