Akyaka

Postby steve.crowe » 26 Jun 2012 00:40

Pictures alone will never describe what a wonderful day out the Akyaka trip was. What a relaxing, wonderful and peaceful change from the normal day trips we have done many times before. Many thanks to Mustafa and Rachael for a memorable day.

Lovely pics Steve,we also did this trip and could recommend it to anyone.
The peaceful setting at the Olive Farm to see the Dragonflies, the boat ride up the Azmac River were we saw Terrapins ducks, fish and numerous other types of wildlife.
An enjoyable lunch in a small cafe in Akyaka followed by a walk through the National Park, Harbour etc while our wives lay on the beach.
WE also visited a Park were we went into a huge swimming pool, ponys for the kiddies to ride and refreshments brought to our sunbeds by attentive waiters.
A great day out and full marks to Rachael and Mustapha.

It does sound great and looks fab too.
Can I ask about the lunch in the cafe was this in with the price and was it a set menu or was there a variety of choices?

dalin the meal was included in the price of the trip only your drinks are extra.
There was a choice of 3 or 4 different dishes.

This may seem a strange question, but are the seats in the Jeeps facing forward or side benches?
I suffer from travel sickness if not facing forward.

The Seats face foreword JT,it is possible Racheal may use her car if you wanted to ride in style.

She used it once before because it was not worth taking another jeep for 2 people

All the seats in the jeep faces forward

Thank you Steve for posting the photos. We didn't have a camera with us so it was a lovely reminder of the wonderful day we had. We were on the same trip as you but travelled with Rachel in her car. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your holiday.
