the Alvaro is amazing...eddie and Ali never seem to run out of energy even when working 18 hours they are the same at the end of the night as they are in the morning, we moved from the kleopatra to the alvaro we loved it so much and stayed in their private villas. we loved it so much we have priced up to go back :D

Excellent photos, thanks for taking the time to upload them.

Can I ask what did you pay for the speedboat taxi from Marmaris?

10 ira a person same price as the regular water taxis
we only found it accidentally, we were wandering along aimlessly at the marmaris end looking for a water taxi and there was only one watersports stall type thing and he was going through the list they had then we said no water taxi he said yes we do water taxi, we paid and were then handed life jackets and were thinking what the heck, walked out on the jetty and got told to pick a boat. Was a brilliant ride my 7 year old drove back, the only time the man ever touched the wheel was if another boat got too close, but we went flat out and were soaked it was great

Lovely pics - we walked to Marmaris too - it was lovely while the sun shone but later in the week when the weather changed was a shock to us - 13 times and never seen it like that but we still had a brilliant holiday though.

its literally just off the main street right by the canal. we had breakfast there most mornings and had an evening meal there. All were very nice, breakfast had no grease at all was really good and a really good price.
one morning there were 5 teas and 1 coffee
4 full english breakfasts 1 beans on toast and 1 toast that came with butter jam and honey and it was 57 lira so £22.80 for 6 people. ALl the prices are the same as in resort and the breakfast worked out cheaper than in some of the places

No Problem :)

They had so much stuff sausage gravy and mash (english bangers) was something like 11 lira, burger was around 5 or 6 lira chips were about 3 lira beef hotdog about 6 lira (not like our hotdogs, more like a beef salad in a baguette type roll). uhmmmmmmmmm breakfast was something like 6,75 lira, I cant think what else they had but there was quite a lot to choose from not as extensive as say the sizzlers menu as that has soooooo much on it, but there was enough on it for a hotel sort of menu and its all cooked fresh just like the restaurants in the resort are not like some apartments we saw where they microwave everything. If they dont have something its normally Ali that ends up disappearing and then reappearing with a carrier bag and its whatever they didnt have inside.
Efes is 5 lira at the Alvaro same as resort (except tandoori sizzler at 3 lira for ICR members) Milkshakes oh my good grief icecream, milk, syrup all put in a glass and mixed up then with squirty cream on the top the kids loved them they were 3 lira, fizzy drinks like fanta coke etc in glass bottles were 5 lira.
We were really surpirsed at the prices and if you just go down and ask to look at the menu they will gladly let you see it and unlike some they dont then push you to buy as you have seen the menu.
