I think an apartment block is to be built on the Deniz Kapisi site.

Sent them a facebook message and they say they are due to open in May, hope they do!!!

As Linda says according to the Deniz FB page they will be open in May as a Karaoke Bar.

I understand that the new Deniz Kapisi will include a rooftop terrace

It may just be the pic giving a misleading idea of size. Will take one from above in next couple of days and see what you think then.

The steps from the road used to come into the bar area i think, dont see them in picture(perhaps they,d nicked a bit extra room in the past)

The steps are still there. Stood on them to take this pic. If I had looked closer yesterday I would have realised that the new building is conforming to the Mayors requirement that all buildings be 2 metres from the pavement. So you are right enough that the building is perhaps smaller but the area available for customers is the same. Clear as mud?

Builders say on target to open in 5 weeks.

Still aiming to open in early May. 1st one taken from outside Harmony
