Marmaris Castle May 2010

Postby Zeynep1985 » 30 May 2010 12:57

All the years we have been going to Icmeler, Marmaris we have always said that we would visit Marmaris Castle. This year we managed to get to the castle and it was so worth it. Not very big but some nice and tranquil to visit in the heart of busy Marmaris. The views of the harbour and surrounding area are nice too. Take a look for yourself.

We went two years ago and it was a lovely afternoon.

The old lady at the top has some very special aura about her, I cant exactly put my finger on it, but she was a sweet lovely lady.

You mean Mama Castle. She most certainly does have an aura about her, but as you say, she is a sweet old lady. She is almost 70 and has visited England once...to which she is very proud :)
Try getting past her without buying from her and you would be very lucky...bless her

Last year, she remembered that the year before, we had bought some cushion covers off of her. She grabbed my hand and took me to the covers...I came away with 12, plus little bracelets for the granddaughters
The smile on her face was brilliant

We went two years a go and spent the morning there before going for lunch and then onto the water park.

You are rights it is very difficult getting past the old lady without buying anything.
