The tension is building as the girls Kelebeck1966 and Zeynep1985 start their climb john and myself are at base camp at tommys bar with elaine cheering them on excuse the quality of the pics but john will put others on later (we forgot the cable for his cameras card)

Afternoon all,
Thank you so much for all your comments about our climb up to the flag. Was so enjoyable and am deffinately going to do it again when we go back. Had such a wicked holiday and am gutted to be back home. Thank you to Travellingscott and John for adding some pics of our climb before we were even down from the flag. Thought I'd add some of our own on the way up.


We had to keep having breaks on the way up as myself and mum both suffer with Asthma and it was tough going so a quick sit down and a swig of water and then were were revived and could keep going. My camera is no where near as good as Johns so I am sorry for photo quality of these. We were incredibly pleased that Thursday was an overcast day and not as hot as Friday.
