Best rate I've seen today is 2.405 with Ice. Cost: £3.95 up to £500, free for larger amounts. Make sure that you don't get charged for using your card though. All credit cards have charges and some debit cards. This may help

Best rate I've seen today is 2.405 with Ice. Cost: £3.95 up to £500, free for larger amounts. There are charges for using some cards though, ALL credit cards have charges and SOME debit cards. This may help

Debit cards that CHARGE a fee - Santander, Alliance & Leicester, Barclays, Cahoot, Co-op, Lloyds TSB, Smile, Natwest and RBS

Debit cards that DON'T CHARGE a fee - Coventry BS, First Direct, Halifax, HSBC, Intelligent Finance and Nationwide.

Nationwide do charge a fee now when going to an ATM, I have a halifax clarity credit card that does not charge a fee

Nationwide charge for withdrawals from an ATM because it is counted as a foreign transaction. When ordering lira online there are no charges (not yet anyway).
