not sure it was the right decision to come home but would have had to come home at some point - by not coming home we would have just delayed the dissappointment.
we left from tommys and found a break in the wall that follows the mountain road to the market. we clambered through the trees and then up the ravine part. it was incredibly steep in places. mum said that it was like child birth, all that pain and hard work but the moment you see the view its all forgotten and so worth it. on the way down we found the path that leads to the cemetry on the datca road. went for a look round the cemetry on our way back to tommys for an efes and and a archers and lemonade - well deserved i think.
we left tommys at about 09:50. it took about an hour to get up and about 50 mins down but like i said we went for a look round the cemetry on the way back to tommys.
good luck to any one who goes up this season and to those i think are going up tomorrow. so glad that thrusday was an overcast day. enjoy the views. will be doing it again in sept/oct.
