Some pictures from our Marmaris holiday in July 2008

5 of us went for a week in July, we stayed at Selen Apartments in Marmaris and we had a great time, they treat us like part of the family at the Selen and we have already promised them that we will be back to stay again next year, albeit Suat told us that the Selen and other apartments will be getting knocked down and a school is to be built there and Suat is in talks about getting another hotel in Marmaris only bigger and better.

The kitten is a stray that the apartments feed scraps, he is not usually allowed in the hotel but maxine was allowed to have him sat on her knee in the reception area, she did not want to leave kitten and was trying to find ways of smuggling him into her suitcase. She also fell in love with some puppies at the Jacandra Pub, they were only 2 weeks old but they were not strays and had been promised good homes, the proud parents seemed to live at the pub.

Colette Maxine has just asked that when you are over there next if you are not there at the moment can you please pop over to Marmaris to the Selen Apart and speak to either Suat, his wife or Jack their son to see if the kitten is ok or if one of the ICR staff can do a "hotel inspection" to see if he is okay

If I can find the apartments when I am in Marmaris I shall call in and get a pic of the kitten, I have another kitten called Noodle to go find as well.

aww you cant forget noodle if you walk down the prom until you come to the road where the market stalls are he was in the last stall, run by an english girl he is so cute hope you find him
