Fantastic photos Papa P.

The Daystar apartments look really nice. I always wondered where they were , didn't realise they were across the road from The Rhodes apartments.
You must have a superduper camera because your photos are great , they are so clear.
Icmeler looks really quiet but as usual really nice. Thanks for sharing your holiday with us.

Thanks for sharing your memories Papa_p,
You have some beautifull views and night time pics of Icmeler.
THe coach transfare sounds a nightmare, something to be said for doing a private transfare.
Dalaman doesnt look very busy.

Thanks for the comments!

The camera was new! :) I bought it especially for going away because I was fed up dragging the old one about which was the size of a football and didnt take good pics! Its a Samsung NV3 if anyone is interested! 8)

The Daystar was great, as I posted elsewhere, that has been my best holiday to Icmeler so far (was my 3rd time) and alot of that was down to the Daystar and the staff there!

The coach transfer WAS a nightmare, I think it took 4 and a half hours from us getting off the plane to getting off the coach in Icmeler! An over packed minibus, a driver who had to stop in Marmaris to pick up two lads to show him where everyone getting off in Marmaris was going...and what was possibly the slowest minibus in history! Needless to say we will be booking transfers with ICR the next time we go! :)

I have got videos to go up but Youtube wasnt playing ball last night when I tried to upload them! :(

Excellent photo's - they are some of the best I've ever seen of Icmeler. They really show the beauty of the place.

Excellent, cause thats what I was hoping to achieve! :) If I had had more time to take more and better pics they could have been even better!

I had always thought of Turkey as a dirty, dusty place before my first visit 3 years ago...and on speaking to alot of people that havent been they are of the same opinion. hence why i took those pics, so I could show them just how gorgeous, lush and green Icmeler is! :)

Thanks for posting your pics. I especially like looking at the beach ones. they are really good quality pics.
Was the inside of one of the bars the Majestic Boys? I seem to recognise the furniture!

It was indeed Majestic Boys! Well spotted!

There are a few tortoises round and about but I think these are the ones outside The Venice resteraunt on the canal area :D

From memory I think they are indeed outside the Venice restaurant...not entirely sure but they are definitley on that side and that stretch of the canal!

They also had tortoises outside the Friends bar, the one opposite Loveboat and Chef!
