they are currently re-building the sports bar and are hoping to have it completed to open at the start of the new season
according to the workers its supposed to be better than it was before

Hope so, it makes that strip of the main road look unfinished. If that is linekers beach bar it will take a lot of renovation work, it was a huge plot!

We left icmeler in october opposite the hotel we were in was waste land we came back in may there was a hotel with pool and resterante exelent job done .So a few little bars will be built no problem icmeler will be better for it .We thought it was super anyway cant wait to see improvments .see you all in may bfn

A couple of pics of Friends Bar,notice the front extension has been demolished along with the little waterfall feature



Part of the Dream 3 Bells has also been knocked down



One that hasnt been knocked down but is haveing a re-furb is the Old Chill Bar New name Awaiting



Sugars First Customer this season at his Buffalo Bar.

Thanks again, some interesting changes there - sad to see the Scotia Bar gone though, they were a great bunch of lads who worked there.

I am really curious as to who will clean the place up.

If I owned a bar that had been demolished I certainly wouldn't hang around to clean it.

Lets see if the council will do the clean up

Places have been pulled down with Furniture and in the case of the Scotia bar with the Pool Table still inside.
Hope the council accepts the responsability for the clean up.
