The Beach after the storm

This was the state of the beach in front of the Yakomoz after the Torrential rains on Saturday 28th May 11
The sand competly washed away by the drainage pipe.

Wow, just shows how the power of nature - all that rain! Most people probably see all the drainage canals and run-offs bone-dry during the summer months and don't realise the amount of rain which can fall in such a short time.

I saw that pipe going in early February and remember thinking that the first storm will run away the sand as the pipe should but out into the water.
