if any one can remember last june/ july the flag wasn't flying when we walked up to it at the begining of july it had been tied up and the rope had been cut, luckily there was plenty of spare rope on the flag pole, so me and mehmet took the flag down and put it back up on new rope it took us about 35 mins but it was worth it . after having rest we carried on and walked all the way to the top of the hill as far as we could go the view is spectacular.
Absolutely fantastic pics, thanks for posting them. You don't realise how big Icmeler is until you see it from the flag. And its not long till I'll be there - 2 weeks on Thursday - yahooooo!
Brilliant pics, brings back memories of last year especially looking down at the Majestic apartments it is almost the same pic as i took when i was at the flag last July. only 67 days and i will be there again for a full 22 days. Bring it on !!!!!!
I have spent some time this morning scanning these photos, thank you ever so much John for sharing them, I now realise how much I have missed with being unable to do this climb myself but you have compensated me with these super views of Icmeler and its surrounding area.
Great photo's fantastic views, what time of day did you do the climb and how long did it take you, watched climbers go up to the flag many a day from Tommy's while having a cold Effes didn't realise just how big the flag is and well done for putting it back in its rightful place and well done to both of you on your climb.
Great photos. Wonderful view. Been fancying having a go at the walk to the flag for a couple of years now - but this has convinced me to definitely do it this year. Only 3 months 3 days to go!
Fab pics - Icmeler looks so nice from all angles. Congrats on climbing the hill and fixing the flag. Looking forward to seeing it from our balcony on 11th June.
Thanks for these great pics ,especially of the Grand Aquarium because we will be there 12weeks tomorrow ,and of Tommys, I'm in that shop next door every day,and that's where we get the dolmus to and from town, they bring back a lot of memories and thoughts of the good times to come, many thanks.
