We went to the castle last year it was only about 2 lira each, worth a visit, they even have an area with tortoises in

We got in for free, so I dont know if it was because we were with our Turkish friend, but the security guard said something in Turkish and just waved us on.

I am sure your six year old would find certain parts of it interesting. It shows a lot of History.

On my last holiday pics I actually posted a few of the castle. Hope you all enjoy it.

When you get down to the indoor market, just ask anybody where it is.

we'll have to pay a visit one year when we go at either end of the season - we usually go in the middle of summer and all we want to do is laze and chill and laze and chill

Wasnt so easy to find,we was out there last month, and wanted to visit it this year,so we asked directions and was told to go up these steps!!a lot of steps!!the sign said castle bar and restaurant, but we thought it would still lead us up to the castle!!well it never, but a drink was so welcoming and the view was brilliant,we was above the castle, couldnt face comming down all them steps and starting again, anyway we are off to Icmeler in Sept and are going to give it another go :)
