Albatross Bar

Does anyone know if the two Albatross bars are still there, at least I think they were called the old Albatross and the new Albatross, I was there 4 years ago and both were excellent bars ( 50 metres apart on the same road ), I think there was a split in ownership and there was a lot of competition between the two bars.

hi the old albatross the end one near baran was knocked down last year, the other one is still there i think

I have just read on another forum that a lot of the staff from the old albatross have gone to Dr Angels bar so I am now wondering if this is the other 'albatross bar' or a new bar altogether.

yeah they did its just over the road from the albatross a couple of them also went to the albatros on the beach front near the methap hotel that opened last season

Just returned from Marmaris today and am pleased to say that the Albatross bar is still alive and kicking.

There is a bar on the beach front called old batross which I'm sure has been renamed from last year. It plays similar music to the albatross.

Just returned today, glad to find the old albatross bar still alive and kicking,found some of the lads from the knocked down albatross working in Dr Angels bar across the road and good to see same lively competition between these two bars, I liked this area of bars better than bar street and long beach bars.
PS. also found Owen ( best juggling bar man I have seen ) who used to work in Albatross and Dr Angels now working in Deniz Capitsi bar in Icmeler.
