hi ppl new to the forum have booked to stay at the antique palace marmaris first 2 weeks in august 2007 can someone let me know wot the hotel is like and weather temp wise that time of year as is my first time to turkey

Hi dazkers..first of all as colette said , welcome to the forum. we have been to the antique palace and found it to be great,but each to there own, you can check out some reports on holidaytruths.co.uk...mine is there...as for august this is major sun protection time....VERY HOT....the higher the factor the better... you have been told...have a great holiday...Gavin

hi we stopped in the antique palace last september we found it to be very nice rooms are quite small but you have everything in there you need its in the quieter area of marmaris called armutalan which is a good walk into marmaris or a dolmus ride away which only cost 50p ! but hey good luck with the august weather we have just got back and tempetures where 40+ !
