shocked

Had a day out to Turunc from Icmeler and was shocked to hear Northern Irish sectarian music coming from a bar there at 2 in the afternoon. It put me off going there again.

Which bar was this from? I usually just go to the Palette Bar when we are in Turunc.

Diamond we normally spend half a day in Turunc and always enjoy it.
Just because one bar played music you did not like should not spoil your enjoyment.
If you followed a football team the other fans abuse you at most games but it does not stop me from visiting that place again.
Have a rethink

Was it Rangers "folk" songs or Celtic "political" songs?

Think I know the bar your talking about. If theres a celtic match on they play celtic music, if theres a rangers match on, they play rangers. Ive heard worse coming from both Irish Bar in Marmaris and Rangers Bar. Ive sat in both, and coming from N ireland myself and growing up with the Troubles, neither has annoyed me nor shocked me. Supposed its a bit like the guys dancing to the Halay, a kurdish dance where there are Turkish nationals.

Take it with a pinch of salt. Whatever "floats their boat" i say. If you dont like it then you can always leave
