Heard such good reports on the Wayside that we looked for it in June this year. Had a couple of drinks in the afternoon and the hospitality was excellent.

Returned one evening for a meal and we both enjoyed. Will definitely return again in October.

We went towards the end of our 17 nights last August, I think it was the best meal we had while in Icmeler, I thought it was slighly more expensive than the rest but the service and food was fantastic.

Wayside is definitely my favourite restaurant. Been regular customer for last three years and consider Rachel, Louisa, Hamdi and Ozkan to be good friends. They really care about providing their customers with a wide variety of freshly cooked dishes. The quality is excellent and atmosphere relaxing. The remodelling for this year has increased the space and given them a small bar area, great for chatting to Rachel after my meal!! Keep up the good work, be back in October for end of season!!!

Promised myself that I would try all new restaurants this year instead of going to our usual haunts.

I'm soooooo glad I did. The Wayside served the best meal we had this year. I had their famous (waiters words)Jack Daniels steak it was lovely.

I will made sure that I go back there next year.

Got off the plane, transfer to Icmeler, dumped the bags in the appartment, had a drink at the bar in our apartments, quick wash & change then up to the Wayside.

Had the Lemon Chicken, beautiful !!!!! :D followed by cheesecake with chocolate sauce :D :D :D

It was just as good as I remember

Was lovely to see Louisa, Ozkan, Rachel & Hamdi again.

The Wayside was our choice for our last meal on our last day  and we were very conservative in choice knowing we had a long flight to come (we both had had a touch of Turkish Tummy). I was a bit dubious because I'd had a Vegetable fajita there 4 years ago that had frozen brussel sprouts in it! However we had the "catch of the day" and it was superb. There was a choice of sea bass and sea bream so we had both and shared. The fish was cooked to perfection, served very well and came with salad and garlic/fennel roast potatoes (no chips! :D ). I'm happy to recommend it to anyone.

Along with Selam this was the best restaurant we visited last year and will be one of the first when we return this year. Lovely food and great service.

that's good to hear Steve, was wondering because Ochlynda raves about the selam and to see she rates the wayside too makes it worth considering
we ate at the wayside once a couple of years ago and the food was lovely but a bit expensive - the cats snaking round my legs put me off returning too
but may well consider a return visit given the praise it's getting

We had an excellent meal there last week. Very friendly staff. I did think it was a tad expensive in comparison to other places though.
