Please help where and what is majestic apartments like

Every year we stay at the alvaro in the villa's but as flight prices soar were thinking of staying at the majestic the only problem is were not sure where it is all I know is that it's in the old village so could someone please help us make our decision and let us know what it's like please going in August

hi we stayed there in august 2010 and had no problems whatsoever rooms were spacious enough only downside was the pool is really deep no shallow end apart from this everything was fine the apartments is near tommys restaurant in the old village and the dolmus passes by the front of apartments if you dont want to walk into the centre hope this helps put your mind at rest a little we have been to icmeler 14 times cheers kenny

Hi twedkenny thanks for your reply we have been going for 9 years now and never really ventured into the old village except to go to déjà vu as the children have been young but now were looking for a change as we've stayed at the same place all the time and were young enough to do the walk how long do you think it would take to walk to the beach from there and is it near déjà vu thanks

I would say 15-20 mins max to walk into town centre.

The Majestic aparts are on the opposite side of Icmeler to the Deja Vu. If you know the road from Deja vu to the Wembley bar, keep going to the "Dry" canal, turn right and head away from the beach. The Majestic is just before Tommy's bar. Hi, we stayed at the Majestic in 2010 after being told by icmeleronline that apartments were refurbished we was very disappointed. Very grubby, mould up the walls in the bedroom, door didn't shut on the shower so wet floor every time, pool area was nice... We love the old village and have been going for many years, but will NOT be staying at these apartments again.

Pondering staying here, and need help with a couple of things please.

Firstly how far are they from say Rhodes aparts or Clubdaystar? I know where the outside gym is just outside the main bit of the old village - are they much further on than that?

Also, anyone stayed here recently? If so what did you think of them?

we just came back after staying at Adler, Majestic back onto them, if Adler anything to go by steer clear! not nice.

Majestics bought half of the building that was the Adler and did it out, so whilst they are half of the same place, they are nothing to do with the Adler. We've stayed in the Mola apartments next to the Adler which are absolutely lovely - have a look at them if you want a good price, highly recommended, spacious, very clean, lots of repeat customers and a lovely family that own them.

Yes I agree Mola Apartments are very nice! I stayed there last September. The only downside is that they are situated 15-20 (or even 30 minutes, depending how fast you walk in heat of the sun) away from the centre of Icmeler.

If you don't mind that - then it's a lovely part of Icmeler to stay - quiet during the evening and scenic mountain view!

A friend of mine stayed at Majestic and said that this was also a nice complex to stay. However, I can't comment myself personally.

ould someone help me , we are lookint to bring our 4 grandkids next year so that would be 4 adults and 4 kids and i see the Alvaro has villas? i was wondering how many do they sleep , any info would be good, failing that John perhaps you could advise on somewhere we all could stay , prefersably with a safe pool as the 2 smaller kids will be 2 and 3 this time next year.

Noodles, Mola was on our list last year - toss up then was between that and Daystar, and Daystar won

This year though, daughter fancies old village again and has her eye on the Majestic so as long as it's not dire or too far back compared to Daystar, we're up for giving it a go.

Do you know where Tommys is? It's very close to there. Or if you know where the school is, it's about 3 or 4 minutes walk further back. 20 minute stroll to the main street, 30 or so to the beach

At least I think that's the building we could see from Daystar
Never ventured as far back as Tommy's so it looks like this could be the year to make it there
