from town, go up past azra jewellers and keep going until you get to the crossroads where Love Star's on your left and Wembley Bar is facing you
Sidiks is straight on, straight across the cross roads

Domestic sorted!?

Sidik's Family Restaurant is the best in Icmeler. This small family run restaurant is located up in the old village. The food is excellent and the welcome from this beautiful family is really the best.

Sidik's steaks are out of this world. He also has a varied menu. Sidik will collect and return his guests to wherever they are staying.

All his cooking is pure home cooking. His Lentil Soup is beautiful, and his Garlic Mushrooms are to die for. This is where we have the best homemade chips.

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary in Sidik's two weeks ago and had a fantastic meal. This was followed by a gorgeous chocolate gateaux, compliments of Sidik.

We love this family very much and look forward to seeing them all again next year.

If you are up in the old village, then pay him a visit, you will not be disappointed.

Is Sidiks on the Icmeler map? Can someone put the link on for the map - I thought I'd saved it but can't find it. :?

We have just got back and some wonderful people we met in our hotel invited us to Sidik's with them one night -so glad they did, thank you Don, Pat, Chris, Isobel and Elaine . This was the best meal we had, the Sidik family are lovely. Sidik came and picked us all up from our hotel and dropped us back. Good Turkish food with a very warm welcome. Please try it

Fantastic Sidiks

Postby ChrisB » 07 Jul 2012 05:25

4 of us went for a meal last night which comprised of. - 3 x soups 1 x garlic mushrooms for starters. Mains were 1 x garlic steak 1 x eubergine with lamb and 2 x lamb casserole washed down with 6 Efes. Total cost 141TL. What a fantastic meal it was and all 4 of us were full to bursting.

BEAUTIFUL

Sounds very nice. This place is on my list to visit this year as we never made it up that far last year due to other family members. 8)

Sidik and his family are fantastic. This in my mind is the best restaurant in Icmeler. Beautiful food and most of all beautiful family. Can't wait to see them again when we arrive on the 27th July. The food here is absolutely gorgeous, all home cooking and Sidik's steaks are to die for. If you are up in the Old Village make sure you pay a visit to Sidik's Family Restaurant for a great meal. Steak Diane is my favourite and Pepper steak is my husband's favourite. Getting so excited now.

We had the "leg of lamb for two" in June and the meat was so tender you could have eaten it with spoon.
A lovely family run restaurant with no noise but excellent food and a very attentive staff/family.
Will go there again on our next visit.

D Craddock asked for directions but from where? If we were two miles from Sidik's we would still make the effort to get there for at least three meals during our stay.

Really looking forward to trying Sidiks, we are staying just round the corner in the Ekinci Palace. I've not heard a single bad review about the place.
