Majestic

Postby taz » 17 Aug 2006 10:06

Majestic restaurant on the Canal offers the best Chineese food available in Icmeler. They have a live webcam on positioned in the kitchen and you can watch the chefs prepare your meal. At 10pm the entertainment starts with Jan on the microphone giving you a rundown on the evenings event and introducing you to all the staff.

So whilst on holiday give this place a try, be prepared to wait for a table if you arrive late in the evening as this is a very popular restaurant which even stays open throughout the winter months.

Had a lovely meal in The Majestic. Lovely settings and very quick service.

Only downside here was the man on the door was incredibly rude.

Majestic was one of the best restaraunts in Icmeler. First place we ate and also last place we ate before we came back. Great restraunt and the waiters always up for a laugh.

The man on the door is incredibly rude, how many times do you have to say you have eaten and have just had a drink before he takes the hint, i am afraid i dont walk past there anymore i walk on the other side of the canal

I'm with you on this Sue.We also found him very rude and always ended up crossing over and walking up the other side of the canel. Mind you people we have spoken to who had eaten in it didn't rate it that highly.

I absolutely love the Majestic we always try to visit it at least 3/4 times on our holiday. We usually go for Chinese as its the best in Icmeler, however we do occasionally have steak and other dishes which are also really nice-we were there just last week and it was beautiful!

had a bit of a chuckle at this Sue & Lynda, we thought the same and crossed over the canal only to be hassled by the Venice lads. only fair to say though that we do frequent both places - except at our leisure rather than their insistence

must say that we have been disappointed with Majestic overall though as time and again they go all out to give us the best tables etc early on in our hols and we get progressively moved further back and out of the way as our hol is coming to a close & when newer folk come!
whereas the Venice accomodate every time and we are always looked after

I ate there twice last week, once I had the chicken curry, but works out expensive when you have to buy the rice seperately, and the second time I had sizzling prawns, that cost 28 lira, then I had to buy the rice seperately again. It was a lovely meal though. It was enough for me, but I dont think it would have filled a big eater.

Entertainment was one of the best I seen in Icmeler, especially the guy who does the dance with the devil act.

The food was nice as was the entertainment. Only thing that I didn't like was the 2 hour wait for the meal due to the resteraunt being packed.

We had a couple of breakfasts, a lunch and dinner in here and as always food was lovely no complaints.

The entertainment was also good so had a couple of good nights in here (handy when we had the thunderstorm as we didn't have far to paddle back to apts).
