If you want a relaxing, unhurried meal in a small restaurant. you can find the Robin Hood just up the road from the centre of icmeler. At the crossroads on the main road - go towards Old Village - about 5-7 min walk, on the left hand side you'll find this lovely restaurant. Alex is a great host and creates a great atmosphere. No loud music or entertainment - but great conversation. The food is very good and there's English tea - yes tetleys! There's a small play area for children too.

Had possibly our worst meal ever in
Icmeler at Robin Hood this month, sadly.
The pasta in the lasagne was hard, and my fish wasnt very appetising with the chips overcooked. Please bear in mind I was ill at the time as well hence the typical "brit" food. They did however take the price of the lasagne off the bill, and gave us a free pancake and ice cream!
The staff were great though, and turns out the owners wife is scottish and used to work where I currently work, as she is also from Ayrshire!

Found this restaurant in the old village, we just popped in for a drink, but the atmosphere was nice and it was busy, so we decided to eat here. Very nice meal and the wine was only 15 ytl per bottle.
Return visit is scheduled for next holiday.

We also stumbled across this place by accident. Had a very nice meal here, very filling although we had to wait about half an hour, they were very busy. but as said previously efes was 2lira a bottle when most places were 4lira and the wine was dead cheap. Nice place to have a meal and then go onto somewhere else for some entertainment. Di.

We had one of the worst meals ever from the Robin Hood. It was a special offer and we had the casserole. The chefs just couldn't keep up with demand and we waited ages, then our meals were brought out more than an hour later. To our amazement they asked us to share as they'd ran out of meat. It didn't taste nice and even though we had to share, a lot of the meal was left on the plates.
Lets just say they didn't receive a tip from our party.

Enjoyed a chicken curry with rice and chips here for the remarkable price of 7 lira - also had a snack one afternoon which was very good too.

Thanks to Bob and Marnie for a wonderful welcome once again in the Robin Hood. We ate here one lunchtime and the food was lovely. Enjoyed our last night here with the quiz and karaoke (sorry for everyone having to listen to Julie doing her Rod Stewart impression). Nice to meet up with Polly and Laurie.
See you again in October.
