Gemma we have all been doing it for years in May and October on the boat trips, the first one is for my birthday and the second for Donna's.

There is a fancy dress shop in Marmaris just past the Tansas

That sounds great but we go in July. I think my hubby was thinking more of a night time thing. Anyone interested?

On that we do or should say used to do and it went down well for many years was to hold a "worst shirt" night.

You could spot the people for miles that had really bad tastes in shirts but then some were really not in it and just had bad taste.

One day a week in Linnekers bar they have a white night where all must dress in white and the place is festooned in white

Don't forget to give me a shout and I will pop along and take some photo's to put on the site

A lot of my friends, have girls fancy dress nights out Gemma, or have fancy dress themed hen parties.

Pop a post up nearer the time and we will see if we can drum up some fancy dress support for you :D

I've had a couple of experiences of fancy dress in icmeler and both times, it was fantastic fun. We joined John on his birthday boat trip last May and my hubby says it was the best day he's had for a long time. Our cheeks hurt from all the laughing. The first time we did fancy dress, we were with a group of 13, mostly teenagers (my daughter and son and some of their friends). One of the lads had a 21st birthday so we decided to have a fancy dress party at the 3(4) Bells. We had a fab evening. We brought our outfits with us because we weren't sure what would be available locally and we ranged from devils to Father Christmas, pirates, Freddie Mercury and "straight through 118".
Hope you have a great time.

Oh noooo, gutted. We fly back 12th july!!!
Its our anniversary on 4th July ( lol, getting married on independance day!) and Marian's birthday on 5th.
We celebrated her 50th in Kos couple years back and did fancy dress then, there was only the 4 of us in our party, but as we arrived at the bars we had made our favourites, we found a few of our new found local friends and fellow holiday-makers had joined in! Brilliant! They had all improvised with t-shirts, make-up etc.!!
Im sure you'll have a blast, :D just so sorry we're missing it. :(
