Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

Hi,

I travel to Icmeler for the first time on 23rd June (and counting! ) and find this forum really useful!! Has anybody ever stayed at or visited the Marti La Perla hotel part of the marti chain? Its web site looks really nice but i'd like to hear peoples opinions.

hi this is also for tarnlass as i forgot to write a review for her, I came back from the marti la perla last month. The hotel itself is beautiful the rooms are cleaned everyday (just one tip do not spill foundation on the bedding as it cost us 60 ytl) free airconditioning and we got a lovely view of the canal. The food was ok i found it got a bit repetative but i expected that as we stayed for a fortnight. The bar was open untill 2am everynight. The only thing is there were about 6 other english people in the hotel and we made up 3 of them, there were alot of dutch but all friendly enough also a few germans and quite a few russians so you need to be up quite early for a sunbed. There is an animation team there most of the day, one thing i must reccommend is the hairdresser you pay extra for this but he did a magnificant job with mine also quite cheap.

Thanks amy, really good to be able to hear from somebody who has been before! Dont suppose you know whether the hotel will show world cup matches at all?

hi colette an animation team is basically an entertainment team, i dont know if they will show the matches as i cant remember seeing a big screen anywhere but you will have a television in your room i should think you would be able to find a match somewhere on the many channels, if not there is the sports bar just up the road and they will definatly show all the matches,

no problem for all its worth you cant reall call them an entertainment team they were not up to much, but they tried there best i probably just dont understand the russians sense of humour!!
