Holiday with Grandchildren

Can anyone offer suggestions on where to stay. I am considering booking a holiday for ourselves. our 30 year old children and 2 grandkids aged 10 and 13.

We have been to Icmeler several times and love it, always staying at the Effendi but would prefer an apartment, preferably geared up to the kids and would really appreciate advice from families with children.

Anywhere in Icmeler - the kids are made such a fuss of, they will love it whereever you are, im sure. We go again in july 3rd time running, but stayed different apartments each time, kids loved it every time, the only thing my youngest didnt like was all the fuss, because she is shy, hated it when they try to kiss her, but they got the message - eventually, even though she does hide behind her dad!

Hi Petlamb,
We always use the Woodland Apartments as the rooms are enourmous. Also as there are only 12 of them the pool does not get too busy. The apartments themselves are joined onto the Market so are just far enough for the town to be comfortable. But, also within easy reach of everything.
We are going back in August with 5 kids aged from 18 months to 15 years and they will love it.

I know you said you would prefer an apartment but the Golmar Beach Hotel has family rooms. Also think the grandchildren would love the two waterslides. Its at the far end of Icmeler so quiet at night but only five minutes to the centre.
