Very near de ja vue restaurant. From Tansas go up past the bakery and keep going. Road splits at De ja Vue - go left and its about 100 yards along there. If you keep going along this road it takes you to the old village with Wembley bar, Ozzies, Roses Cafe etc.

Thanx John.
I had an idea it was in that area. I know exactly where Deja Vu is - eaten there many times when staying at Kurt.
Now I will be able to find Faber.
It has a good write up, can you tell me anything about it?

sorry to hijack the post, but wondering if admin could advise the cost of the aircon in the Faber apartments. When I go to get a quote it advises that the price excludes aircon, but doesn't advise the aircon charge as it does for some other apartments.

Thanks! :D

Was thinking about going there but was a bit put off by reviews saying that the pool looses the sun after noon. Dont know wether this is true or not, shame if it is because everything else about it sounded really good.

I think the pools quite big - cannot see it all being under shade!

Suede,
We stayed there approx 4yrs ago and had a fantastic stay. We were at that time there on a SC basis with a mainstream holiday company, before we discovered this forum and ICR. I must admit the apartments were probally some of the best we have stayed in on our many trips to Icmeler. I do believe the hotel has changed hands and when we were in Icmeler in Aug this year there appeared to be a lot more people eating there,so I dont know if they are doing a lot more on HB basis. At the time we were there what made it for us was the staff ( best I have encountered anywhere ) are the lovely guests we met and have stayed in touch with. Its located in the old town right opposite the Bahar Aparts.

Air con was £4 a night last June. As its located in the bedroom it only really cools that area of the apartment but is still worth the money in my book. The Faber is a great place to stay well located for both the old village but not too far to walk to the main area of Icmeler. We enjoyed our stay that much last year we are going back this September. Appears ICR have added it to their list of properties quite recently because when we were booking earlier this year it wasn't available through ICR.

We stayed at these apartments in July last year , our 5th time in Icmeler . These are the best apartments that we have stayed in . Rooms are very spacious and modern , really nice living area and bathroom . Bedroom has patio doors that lead to the balcony . Staff , as always , are very friendly and helpful . Poolside restaurant serves excellent food that is competitively priced , full english breakfast was 5 lira and a bottle of efes was 3.5 lira .
As stated above one side of the pool loses the sun in the afternoon but that is good for those that need some shade . Pool is really big and there was always sunbeds available .

We have booked again for this year .

This will be my 4th time going to icmeler & the second time staying at the Faber. Like others say, they really are some of the best apartments i've stayed in. Excellent location (not in a busy or noisy location) & not too far to walk back at night, although it's practically pitch black (no street lighting)

The pool is lovely & big & has a fun spray/waterfall thingy & not too deep at all, and again, it only looses the sun in the pm on the side the apartments are, but there's plenty sunbeds to go around so you just move! The food & drink at the poolside are very reasonable & tasty!

The rooms are nice & big & cool! But don't go for the ones on the top floor...the balconies are teeny tiny & you need a Sherpa & oxygen tank to get you to the top!

The only complaint i have about the Faber is the curly stairs...they're very steep. Oh & the receptionist we had was a bit of a misery, i can't remember her cracking a smile the entire time we were there...

this august will be our third time in the Faber, we love it :D
the rooms are big enough but we had to get a fan for the front room as two people sleep in there and it gets warm.
the pool is fairly big and their is a childrens pool connected to it. Only half of it gets covered in the late afternoon but by then most people are getting ready to go out :)
the staff are lovely and they are always making sure that everyone is entertained whilst sitting around the pool and in the night they like to get everyone up to dance and have a go at kareoke ! :D
The supermarket is not far away and there are many restaraunts and shops surrounding the Faber. However we found that we had a few meals from Faber as they were just as nice and the staff always made us great deals! :D
