My Apologies to all that have read this topic

I have a file here in my pc that will teach you Turkish and is very good.

It speaks the words so you can talk along with it.

IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE THIS I WILL UPLOAD IT TO RAPIDSHARE FOR ANYONE TO DOWNLOAD.

Hi

We are returning to Turkey in September this year, we were first timers last September and had a wonderful time, so we booked as soon as we returned. I would like to try and learn some Turkish before I go this time round, can anyone recommend any good books, dvds or sites etc to try. Can't wait to leave this horrible cold weather to be back in the sunshine with an Efes again!! :D

Hiya, I have been learning some Turkish through a website called byki (www.byki.com), they have a basic package which is free and I think it is really good for learning all the things like greetings, taking a taxi etc...
I hope this has helped,
Sam :-)

I had weekly Turkish lessons for 18 months and it is sooooo hard! The homework was so time consuming that I just gave up in the end! Havnt forgotten what I learnt tho so that is good.

Thanks for your all your help, it does seem a really hard language to learn, I think I will have a go at learning the basics and see how it goes. I have ordered a Collins dictionary/cd off the Amazon so will try and use that to start with. Thanks again. :P
