Yes, there's a mix of bars and restaraunts. You will normally find that most restaurants turn into bars after about 9/10 and they'll have various shows on. The entertainment that will go off around 12 o'clock due to various rules and regulations. There are few restaurants that don't turn into bars with entertainment but this is too cater for all - that's what Icmeler does. Some people prefer boom boom bars, some people prefer a small amount of entertainment and some people prefer a quiet drink. There's also a drag show which I'm lead to believe will now be at the Robin Hood Bar near the Old Village (correct me if I'm wrong).

If you've got any people who like a visit or two to the club, and that's your cup of tea, then you're able to visit the 2 clubs that are in Icmeler. They're called Club Pleasure and Eastenders. Please be aware that you may not leave until 4/5 in the morning and whilst Icmeler is safe, from my experience, some of the other blokes that are mainly Turkish can tend to be forceful on women. This is a very small minority though.

Overall, it caters for everybody and I'm sure other people on the forum will come along, with varied tastes, and will give you various other amounts of information.

I would say that there isn't a 'strip' so to say of bars. Not like bar street in Marmaris or Magaluf etc which is for 18-25's. You do however have a main street, canal etc which does have various bars and restaurants on. This is nothing compared to the resorts stated above though.

I hope I've covered most of it for you. Enjoy your holiday.

Jonny.

most restaurants turn into bars as the night progresses but not sure if this will be allowed to happen this year under the new mayor
there is not really a strip of bars they are just all round icmeler
but where ever you go in icmeler you will be able to find somewhere nice
hope you have a good holiday when it comes and hope this helps

I would suggest that you go and try to change the booking with whoever you booked with and ask for Marmaris as that is where the best "bars" are and you have bar street also.

It will work out a lot cheaper for you as you wont be needing to take taxi's back to Icmeler all the time which are quiet expensive

I would say there's plenty of bars. It depends what you define as a bar.

Wispers after the first couple of nights in Icmeler you will realise that there are plenty of bars in Icmeler which are scattered all over but never seem to be to far away due to the resort being built like a Square and not a strip like other places.

Icmeler is a much bigger resort then the brochures make it out to be and there are plenty of bars noisy and quiet to keep most people happy, try it, it is a million times better then Marmaris, i'm sure you will like it. :)

You are better of in Icmeler anyway, as alot of the bars along the beach in Marmaris have been pulled down. The main clubs are on Bar Street now and the drinks prices are mega expensive they make drink prices in the UK look cheap. There are plenty of lively bars in Icmeler especially the ones along the Canal that can get really busy. Also friends bar is a popular lively haunt.

there are also 2 clubs in icmeler that stay open until 4am i think
they are good for a laugh when the bars shut
icmeler is much better than marmaris in my opinion and im sure a lot of the other members of this forum would agree :)

i would also say there are a lot of bars, along the main road (tansas road)
Wouldnt say icmeler was more of a family/couple resort anymore... most of the "children" from the families seem to have grown up and are now going on there own! So icmeler has changed in that way over the years!
if its bars you want rather that restaurants you will find them!
And as Katie said there are 2 nightclubs. Pleasure - on the main road of tansas and Eastenders - Behind the police station :) Both open til 4
Hope you have a great time in Icmeler

There is still the right mix for the clubbers and families with young with children, you will find whichever type of bar/restaurant/ noisy or quiet, easily :)

Knowing Yaya and Adam from the Dreamboys restaurant if they do not rebuild on their old site they are almost sure to pop up in a new location.
May be for the better after last year.
