Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I got back from my holiday in Icmeler at 04.40 this morning and I am very very sad. As normal for me, from the moment I got picked up from BABADAN Appartments I was in tears. These tears only subsided when the motion of the coach made me fall asleep across my boyfriends lap, but once sat in the departure gate and I saw people coming of the plane and going downstairs to get their visa's and going through passport controll I was in tears again. I thought I would be ok the plane, but I was so wrong. I had a window seat so I sat with my head pinned to the window so I could get my last few sights of Turkey, and that was it I was in tears again.

Now I only have to think that this time yesterday I was sat in the 3(4) bells with my friends of several years and I am close to tears again.

I HATE COMING HOME!!!!!

One of the things that keeps me going is being able to watch Icmeler on the webcam. While we were there my Dad hired a Jeep and everytime we went past the webcam in the Jeep I was waving.

I am planning a trip back in either September or October, but would really appreciate hearing from other people and there stroies of there brilliant holidays in Icmeler!!!!

I look forward to hearing from you, and please help me cheer up as I still want to cry!!!!!!

I so understand what you're saying. we go to turkey only once per year and i'm so envious of people on this forum who go more often than that but i suppose i should think myself lucky that i can go at all!!
we are going in sept and while i'm at work i daydream of sitting on the beach and then going out every night having fun, but the day before i come home part of me wants to go home but a big part of me wants to stay
well not much more i can say but wanted to reply to you as you sound sooo sad

cheer up. Just think, if you don't come home you can't look forward to going back again.

I know just how you feel, it was my first time last year and I really enjoyed it, it took me weeks to get over it I really did not want to come home. I keep praying that I will win the lottery and then I would buy an apartment out there and spend all summer there, how cool would that be.

Hope you cheer up soon, you can now daydream about going back in september I wish I could go more than once a year.

Seeing as I am still quite tearfull. Mainly to do with the fact I have work tomorrow. The only saving grace is that when I was in Icmeler I brought 3 post cards to go up on my wall at work by my desk so that when I am having a rubbish day I can gaze at Icmeler and also remember that the reason I am at work is to earn pennies so that I can go back again later this year!!!!!

Im exactly the same Zeynep My Mum goes a lot, once every 3 or 4 months and this July she finally decided to take me with her. Now, after only a week, I'm back in rainy Scotland and dying to go back to Icmeler. Considering selling my brand new laptop to pay for a holiday in September or October. Fingers crossed.

Hi! I really feel the same as you... I really love Icmeler <3 The beach, the bars, and the wonderful guys.. I miss them so! We only went to Icmeler for a week, it was my first time, and it was from 29 june this year. I met a lot of people, and made lots of friends but when the last day came, I was so sad.... I didn't want to leave!! The bus came at two o'clock at the night the day we should leave.. Then I started to cry for real.. I had to say goodbye to my new friends, and just leave.. It wasn't fun at all...... I was sad for weeks after we went home, and cried a lot! It's over a mounth since we went there now, but I think about Icmeler alomost every hour.... I will go back next summer I just have to... I looooove the place <3 Icmeler <3
