We would like to do a detailed study of who stays where, with who at what price and so on. Please contribute to this study of statistics. We will share our findings in summary with other interesting information we may gather on this.

Ok as for the ban that we have had concerning advertising other holiday companies, well you are of course very welcome to discuss who you booked from etc but please do not advertise offers from any other company on here.

This is common sense and will be left to your own selves to realise what this is about.

One more thing is feel free to click on a few of the adds of interest to you which will help towards the running costs of the forum and make sure it all runs smoothly for you alladmin

we booked filghts for 6 adults with aegean flights date of travel 25 june 2010 price each person from gatwick for 2 weeks is 150 each we have booked gondol appartments x 3 with private transfer at 400 pound per appartment
we thought this to be a excellent price as it works out at 700 pound per couple for a two week holiday we really wanted to stay in the canal area we booked direct with the gondol via phone and email so looking forward to it
we have used icr in the past and will do so again they just didnt do these appartments

both with Icmeler online as we have had previous good service and good prices with them

Total for 2 adults £916.00 flying from Manchester and day flights.

June 30th--- July 21st

Lal Residence, private booking with owner through hollidaylettings.-- the wife misses luxuries of home ,ie; dishwasher, washing machine, oven,fridgefreezer,microwave etc.

Onur air flights booked with A1 travel.-- A1 travel have the option to pay deposit only at time of booking.( all paid now).

Transfer will be with ICR ( when booked ).--- ICR are fast and friendly and free water .

5 travellers aged 36, 36, 11, 7, + 4 .

Total cost £2400 or £ 480 each for 3 weeks.jambogarry

We travel 13th August booked with Coop,TC flight staying at the Hotel Private 14 nights 4 adults £1580 B.B.Which was a lot cheaper than this years.......maryb

Booked 2 weeks from 22 May to 5 June from Glasgow

Ozlem 1 apartments for 2 adults for 2 weeks OTBeach holidays £52

2 flights from Glasgow return Aegean £340

2 return transfers Transferonly.co.uk £32

Total £424 or £212 per person

One of the main reasons for using above companies is have used them before and the prices they charge were too good to miss

Rami as Cummo has advised on a previous post on this subject, will people look at this thread and perhaps look at other holiday companies who may in some instances be cheaper than ICR, again just an observation

All looking good to me so far and thank you all.

I shops around myself and quite rightly too but lots of people don't just want the cheap stuff or even know what to do if things go wrong so we just wanted to see what you all did and your thoughts where on certain places.

I am a well experienced traveller and a rep to me is a hinderance so its not for me but for others it is a comfort.

If we were all the same there would be only one place to get your bookings done.admin

Chose Aegean Flights as they were the cheapest and ICR as we have travelled with them on a few other occasions and they are great as well as cheap! It's also good to know that if there is any problems then we can go to their office instead of trying to contact a faceless travel company. ICR were also brilliant with us a few years ago when we got caught up with the Glasgow Airport incident. They were ace as no-one knew what was happening and the poor pick up driver waited hours for us and then had to come back 3 days later when we eventually arrived. Don't think the big travel companies would have been as accommodating!
