Advice Please?

Postby LisaJM07 » 16 Dec 2009 20:47

Hi Everyone,

i haven't been on for a while, so hello!

I'm just after a wee bit of advice really, me and my cousin, aunty and uncle are planning to return to Icmeler in July/ August next year. We normally stay in the same apartments in the old village, which gives us a 20 minute walk to the centre for a night out and a 20 minute walk back to look forward to! So we are thinking off booking apartments right in the centre of the resort this time.
:D
Any recommendations? We would prefer so be near the Wonderboys end of the resort... :)

thank you,

Lisa x

Hi LisaJM07
Take a look at the Ustun, I realise they are not near Dreamboys but are a reasonable size, just round the corner
from the ATMs, and only a short stroll to Wonderboys, beach or anywhere.

near the center or within 5 mins walk from the center are

siesta
babadan apartments(maybe to late now to book)
blue rainbow
grass apartments(behing hobnob bar, sometimes busy and loud)
ustun
ercan
hope this helps, but we found out that if we ever did end up in the old village then its no biggie as there is the nice walk or taxi or dolmus, and there is a lot of aparts that run you to the center or restraunts pick you up even . :D :D

we stayed here in October and will be going back next summer - we usually stay in the old village but also found the walk to be a pain after several years visits
the guys who work here are great and it's very central, practically opp WOnderboys

have to say that the shower was bl***y freezing, but late October so maybe it was to be expected - it's not put us off though

Personally I love the Old Village area and enjoy the walk into town. There are some excellent restaurants in old village as well. I like my peace and quiet too much to consider staing in the town for example above a bar, oh noooooo

Thanks everyone for your replies! I will be on the net later checking out all the apartments.

Colette, we may consider a hotel, we just want somewhere central. We are coming over for my cousins 21st birthday so i will have to speak to everyone about it! Personally i'll stay anywhere! But you know what it's like someone doesn't like the size of that pool or the look of these apartments!! Nightmare!
