Food wise you must try the "Leg of Lamb" it is cooked for a long time in the oven (hence most places ask you to book in advance) and is to die for.
Fish is also very good.

Oscars Pop In, Waterfall Restaurant and Charlie's Place

Postby Laura » 09 Jun 2006 15:10

We were AI for our holiday but we did venture out for some meals. I had seafood rissotto in Charlie's Place which was delicious, Tuna Pasta Bake in Oscar's, also yummy, but my favourite was the seafood tagliatelle in Waterfall Restaurant, it was perfect!
My friend had some sort of kebab style meal at Oscar's and I think it is the main reason she is going back! It was chicken breast stuffed with vegetables, wrapped in pitta bread and baked in a tomato based sauce, it was scrumptious!!!

geordiewoman,
Try any of the Turkish specialities and you're sure not to be disappointed.
For a snack theres a kebab shop in the arcade along from the Devamli and Florida aparts.
Efes beer and local produced gin are superb, coctails at the Sports bar are something special.
All of the restaurants serve excellent food and steaks are excellent at The Waysiders and Loveboat restaurants.
We're back again on the 23rd as well, we may bump into each other!!
Enjoy your holiday, its pretty hard not too!

Postby simon the fireman » 12 Jun 2006 10:24

hello to my fellow geordie ,places to eat out in icmeler are plenty if you want to try something different there is a small pancke resteraunt opposite tansas and next to eileens (spot on if you fancy a break from exotic food and have an urge for fish and chips )the pancake are like nothing on earth and are so filling, it is an experience watching the old lady making them on what looks like an upside down wok. try mellisas just down from captain bulshit not the cheapest but food tremendous , if rex is on the door say hi from mr and mrs simon. enjoy your holiday we will be there in july .
