Hotel Upgrade

Postby Gemma Louise » 05 Dec 2009 09:26

Me and my husband are going away for our five year wedding anniversary to icmeler and were going to upgrade our hotel to the Aqua, has anyone ever stayed here and what did you think. Is it good value for money?
I know that the location is great and the pool looks massive :) All help is appreciated? x

Hello gemma we stayed at the aqua in september and it is a very goog hotel the rooms were fine and the food and drink were also good. But we felt as it was all inclusive that we lost out in sampling the many resturants in icmeler. so we have booked to go back in may with I.C.R. and are staying bed and breakfast. But if it is all inclusive you want i would have no hesitation in reccomending the aqua if you want any more info feel free to pm me. hope this helps

Hi there!

We'd definitely recommend the Aqua. My wife and I stayed there 8 years ago and loved everything but the pool (which is why we went to the Marti for quite a few years afterwards), but this year we went back and even that is much better as well. So it's definitely our hotel of choice in Icmeler, and we're back there next August, so I guess that must count for something!

In case it's of interest, they also do HB+ accommodation, which is breakfast and evening meal but includes drinks with the latter. This leaves lunch free to be spent around the many lovely restaurants (which is sometimes a nicer time than the evening, as things are that much quieter and it's easier to chat to everyone), and there's still plenty of time for a drink or two (well, maybe that's an underestimate :D ) in the evening as well.

Hope this helps, but if you have any more specific questions then feel free to ask, either on this thread or by PM.
