You lucky things. We have spent a week or two in
icmeler over the past three years around Christmas and have loved every minute. Last year we stayed at Iguana Aparts in icmeler. It is very quiet at this time of year and there can be torrential rain but equally you can have some lovely sunny days. In the past one or two shops have been open - the bag shop on the main road and the hairdresser, Beyond the Fringe as well as Greenhouse. Regarding bars/restaurants, the Three (4) Bells on the main road is open all year, Babadan
Hotel and Florida and I think possibly one or two places in the old village. We've found that we tend to go to
Marmaris most days because there is a bit more activity there. Icmeler is totally different during the winter when all the usual touristy places are closed but it retains its magical atmosphere. I've really enjoyed seeing her at this sleepy time of year. Having said that, we've been there for a couple of New Year celebrations and have had a thoroughly lively and enjoyable evening! Hope you get your winter fix. Sadly, we're not going this winter (hubby's job looks a bit shakey) so we're going to "make do" with a couple of nights in Portsmouth or Bournemouth - not the lovely icmeler but at least there will be seaside and bars!
