what the first hotel and apartments built in icemeler I said grand saral for hotel but hubby says nope they build from the beach outwards

I thought it was the Marti.

I think it was the Gondol apartment which was shown as a motel. They owned all the land from there to the Bamboo.
They still rent the Venice, out same guy for the last thirteen years. I put some pictures from an old postcard on this site and the date was 1976.
I know the Babadan hotel is quite old as there was pictures of that as well .

During the 1980's the only resort in Icmeler was the Marti and the main development took place during the 1990's leading up to the destruction of "The Old Village".

yep definatately the marti and la perla was soon after
