Help - rain!

Postby Lisalala » 22 Oct 2009 06:45

We are going to Icmeler on Friday - our kids are 14 and 10 and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of stuff to do over there if its raining as the forecast doesn't look too good. :(

We have been before at this time of year and it's been nice weather so keeping the kids entertained hasn't been a problem, now if the weather isn't going to be too good I'l like to have a back up plan in place to keep them entertained.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated
Thank you

Water Park, you are going to get wet anyway and there will be no queues.

Thanks ever so for the suggestions

We have the Waterpark on our to do list and where is the Havanna Bar? I've read lots about it on this forum but I can't think I've ever even walked past it?

There does not appear to be anything to satisfy the needs of young teenagers at this time of year especially during a spell of wet weather, I hope it stays fine for you all.

Hi there we went to Icmeler two years ago in October and it rained so heavy we were in two restraunts when the roof feel in due to weight of rain, we had our teenage grandaugter with us so we had a problem, but we had the ice rink, indoor bazaar in Marmaris, bowling right down at the back of Bar Street you can see it from the Marina went on day trip to Fetiye, quad bikes my husband did that with her it was very muddy, went into Laguna used there facilities also i have been told have not been yet but Mugla is quite big and you can spend the day visit the market. The week went quite quick but spent more money shopped more, but i would still go back this time of year only been August this year and have booked for next August. still have a great time you will find plenty to do.......

Got back last night and I read all the forecasts before I went. All said rain for the best part of the week. Absolute nonsence! Every day was hot and sunny in the 30's and I am smugly sitting here as a bronzed adonis!

Just got back this morning -- it rained Monday so we did the quad safari which was great fun and very muddy which the kids loved! It rained Wednesday so we did the Dalyan trip as we figured we were going to get covered in mud and get wet anyway in the mud baths. Again had a fab day and apart from those two days the weather was lovely :D ...
