Grand Saral Hotel

Postby skino » 06 Jun 2006 15:13

Hi there, I hope I am posting this in the right place. I am going to Icmeler on June 12th and will be staying at the Grand Saral (used to be called the Grand Sarba I think) anyway I have read some awful reviews and I am a bit worried! Has anyone been there recently?! I am not a fussy person, I have stayed in some right dives (!) and as long as its clean and safe I am generally happy. Someone please tell me something positive to put my mind at rest! :D Regardless of the hotel I am excited though, I went in May and I booked this the day after I got back. Icmeler has made a real impression on me, I have never been anywhere like it, the people are so incredibly friendly and helpful. I love it! Sorry, I've rambled on for ages havent I!!

There is only one review on HT from this year regarding this hotel and it seems to have improved.
I stayed there in 2004 and the only good points I could make are that the cash points are close as are the bars.

Wow that sounds promising...close cash points eh? Lucky I'm not expecting much it would seem. Whereabouts in Icmeler is it? I stayed at the Idas last time I went, is it near there? Oh and thanks for replying!

It's in the big square (as i said next to all the cash points) beside the taxi rank and grassy area. Facing Harry's Steak Bar & Chill Bar. Like I say the one review from this year (since it changed name and hopefully owners & staff) said it was OK. Also you are in the centre of everything so never have far to walk.
