going on friday exchange rate

hi can you please tell me what the exchange rate is today we have been told it is dropping everyday

The interbank rate(rate at which the banks exchange money between themselves) is currently 2.38TL - £ so you should get between 2.30 - 2.34 in the resort depending on where you change your money
Do not use the exchange shops as they will charge you commission use the small supermarkets for the best rate

just got back last night after 11 nights and during that time it dropped from 2.40 in some bars wonderboys and vience to 2.35 in same ,supermarkets were allways 2.37 now 2.33.our apartments was 2.25. so was a bit disapointing against july when it was 2.50.

2.45 when we arrived and it had dropped to 2.35 at the end of the fortnight and it looks as though the pound is going to get a further pounding against the euro and dollar so shop around for the best deal.

OMG - looks like we'll need to take advantage of any price reductions in the bars etc at this rate !
We go a week on Friday and in August were getting 2.40/2.45, didn't quite manage the 2.50 someone's mentioned, but nonetheless the rates were much better than last summer so our money went further.

Will have to remember to change some ££s for TL over here during the Winter when the price picks up - every penny counts at the mo

yeah Fanny your right
when i went in july and august i was getting about 2.4-2.45
it has gone down a lot in the past couple of weeks
im going to alanya on tuesday so looking as if we will have to watch the pennies
