Our son has arrived home this weekend announcing that he is getting married next year.
Despite all I taught him. You know....
"Now listen son, if you're gonna get wed, then find yourself an heiress, or failing that, a rich widow with a pub."
He's done neither, so it looks like next years holiday fund may well turn into a wedding fund.
Seriously, though. He's got himself a good'un and if I have to sacrifice a holiday in my new favourite place in order to set him and his lovely fiancee on their way, then I'm only too happy to be there for them.
So...Unless I can pick 5 or 6 lucky numbers, we'll have to wait until 2011
