I think you should have a look at these thread its very hard to find work in Icmeler and working without a visa can have very harsh fines

I'd be really careful if you're going to consider working in Icmeler without a visa. I've heard from lots of friends the mayor has cracked down on illegal british workers and do you really want to run the risk of getting thrown out of Turkey??

Why not try and apply to be holiday reps? Not guaranteed to work in Icmeler but I think that's the safest option.

I lived there last year for 3 months and had a ball...I didn't work but just saved up! If you want to ask anything else feel free to PM me! I'll try and help as best I can

Why not try your hand at babysitting , get yourself a few UK Certs before you go out to Icmeler.
Iam sure many mums and dads would jump at the chance to have a few hours without the kids

IE : Mum and Dad go out for a meal @ 7.30pm.... and arrive back @ 9.30 --10.00pm... and you get yourself £20-£30 per shift. (Not to bad for a few hours).. You would still have a few hours to go to your FAV bar with money in your pocket.

One thing we miss from booking with the big tour opps ( F**** C*****, T***** C**** , ) is the kids clubs.

Its up to you if you make it legal or not... ( I wont tell if you dont ) .

Give me a PM and we could give you a few hours work for next year..... errr... more than a few hours. .

My kids are saints, happy, and little s****s, and would be more than happy to see the back of mum and dad for a few hours..

We are seriuos about this suggestion. ... Spend the winter getting your UK certificates, ... and then go to Icmeler and make it happen. .

Jambogarry's got a good point there, I've seen a couple of requests on forums for english nannies, so if you had your certs, that could be a go-er
mind you, the wages he mentions do seem high - and not sure where you'd stand re being legitmate
this summer, an English girl working at the aparts we were staying at got her marching orders after an undercover visit from some officials posing as tourists
so please be careful and think seriously before you go ahead with anything - just weigh up the risks

My daughter was almost on the verge of doing the nanny thing, but I would advise anyone considering it to check it out very very carefully first. The money can seem quite good on first appearance, but some of them want the girls to work very very long hours and yes, there are also questions over your legal status working in Turkey too.
I'm not trying to put anyone off doing it - but please just check it out very thoroughly beforehand. There are a lot of pitfalls, so do your homework before you consider it.

I was talking to a policeman from Marmaris the other night (known him for years) and he said that they had just deported 3 Brazilian women who were working Ilegally and they wont get back into Turkey for a few years.

Seems a long way to come though
